These terms are an agreement between you and Alexandre Cuna ("we") for using Spurt, an AI writing tool for adult fiction.
You must be 18 or older. By creating an account you confirm that you are. We may close accounts we believe belong to anyone under 18.
Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
What you write and what Spurt generates for you belongs to you, as far as the law allows. We don't claim ownership of your books and we don't publish them. We only store and process them to run the service for you. AI output can be similar to other AI output, so we can't promise it's unique.
You must follow our Content Policy. Breaking it can lead to content being refused, ink being lost, or your account being closed.
Spurt runs on ink, a prepaid credit used up by AI actions at the prices shown in the app. Ink has no cash value, can't be transferred, and isn't refundable except as described in our Refund Policy. Prices may change; changes never affect ink you already have.
Spurt uses AI models that can be wrong, inconsistent or inappropriate. Check its work before you rely on it or publish it, and follow the AI rules of any platform you publish on.
We try to keep Spurt running and your work safe with regular backups, but it's provided "as is". Keep your own copies of important work (use Export or Publish). To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings, which deletes your books. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
We may update these terms and will show the date of the latest version. Questions: support@spurtwriter.com.
